  • Newbie Questions on R-Motion and Golf Club

I just got the R-motion 4 club package which included TGC. I had a few newbie questions as while the R-Motion mobile app is very self-explanatory and sleek, I'm not finding the same experience with TGC software (even though I play TGC 2019 for PS4).

    1) What version did I actually purchase? I'm guessing TGC, but it's difficult to tell as this simulator version looks different than 2019 on the PS4.
    2) Is there a way to JUST use a driving range? When I pull up a driving range under the course list, it treats it like an actual course.
    3) How does chipping/pitching/putting work?

My setup is a large net with turf in my backyard, and I have the dongle attached to my club and synced to either the R-Motion mobile app or TGC, but TGC just doesn't seem to be as fluid as the mobile app. I'm running TGC software on an old Surface Pro 2 tablet because it's easier to bring outside with me.

    Thank you for the help!

    2. If you got Front page click on the side to find new courses, you will see Driving range, when you playing it hit ESC to show settings and set to AUTO replay shot or something like that, not sure why they dont have dedicated driving range that just replays auto.....anyhow.
    3. I find the putting you have to hit it quite soft? Just add one to your putter, but you have to take out gizmo each time..... and put in holder. Putting and chipping work ok, just swing as normal (of course you need gizmo on each club)...mmmm not sure about the chipping and bunker play -? Not sure it takes into account the open stance and swing...?
