  • The Golf Club Carry Distance with Low Spin Drivers

    I'm currently trying to resolve this issue without any luck, does anyone have any experience with this?

    I recently purchased a new driver because my old one was spinning too much, well not when I hit a low spin drive, TGC seems to penalize me. I've attached 3 pictures of the data display from TGC Sandbox range, all drives were off a tee. Inside the image I have a picture of my GC2 data. Seems when I get below some backspin number, I get penalized by TGC, when I've been playing it seems this threshold is around 1800-2000 rpms. Anything below that and I lose carry distance.

    Running GC2 with Protee interface with GSX.

    Thanks.

    For those who do not have access to Optimal Flight, here is what it reports on these shots:

    158 MPH shot -> 259Y (TGC=260 / GC2 = 283)
    162 MPH shot -> 224Y (TGC=205 / GC2 = 240)
    166 MPH shot -> 270Y (TGC=280 / GC2 = 282)
