    Trees and Wind issues

One thing I don't like or have a issue with. I have wind turned off at least I think I do since I don't see a Wind Off option but Wind Meter off and forgot the other wind parameter is off.

But anyways the trees in the distance flicker some, but when I do "Q" the Trees don't flicker anymore and everything looks great move arrows left or right and tree flickers comes back. "Q" again everything looks great. Also on the shadows have the same issue.

Not sure if anyone else has the same issues and maybe I just don't have my settings right.

    Any suggestions?

Mx... Never seen this issue. Could it be that your graphics card isn't quite enough to handle the resolution you have the game set at? Try lowering the graphics setting and see if it goes away. I'm going to play 9 shortly, so I'll play close attention to see if I notice it.

I get tree flicker too and I have a Nividea GeFore GTX970. I've tried running in every resolution and screen size and I've tried every setting. I tried every driver. I gave up.

I get this happen with graphics too.

I can't figure it out either. If you find out, please let me know.

        Here's my setup

        PC - Alienware X51 R2 with 4th Generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 Processor (8MB Cache, up to 3.9GHz with Turbo Boost Technology) with GTX 970

        OS - Windows 7 64bit, 8g ram

        Projector - Optoma-HD25-LV

        Screen - HQ2

        TGC: 1280x1024, high
        Vsync On
        Depth Of Field: on
        Anti-Aliasing: on
        Object Detail: 3
        High-Quality Tree Count: 300
        High-Quality Tree Distance: 314

when set to 1440x900 the flicking is not as bad but at 1024x768 way worse

1280x1024 seems to be best I can get it for 10'x7' the 1440x900 is 10'x5' so I'm putting up with a little more flicker for a bigger view

I thought the flicker could be caused by not having the screen resolution set to that of the projector? Also, if you have a projector and a monitor and you have both screens displaying the same information, the max resolution that can be output is limited to that of the display with the lowest resolution.

MT... I didn't see anything going on with the trees in your video, but I did see some strange rolling flicker in parts of the building. I can only assume this is what you're talking about. I've never experienced anything like this. Your graphics cards should be ok, so maybe it's the cable or even the projector acting up. Hopefully some other guys have seen this before and can weigh in.

You're right JV. I was showing the windows. Sometimes the flagstick does the same thing. Sometimes the divots on the tee flicker too. I've been busy finishing the build. I plan to sort it out later. The trees are flickering but it's super hard to tell in a video.
