Rookie Question: TGC in an offline situation...

Can TGC be played offline? If so, I assume the courses you want to play have to be downloaded somehow. I only say that because the initial software download size was very small compared to the ProTee software packs, so I wouldn't think the TGC courses are locally stored.

So to summarize:

1) can TGC be played without a network connection?
2) if yes, how do you download the courses to your PC (obviously while you have a network connection?

I dont think u can choose the offline courses

You can play the courses you have not published and I believe the base courses that come with the system while offline. Maybe 12 or so courses.

Out of curiosity, what happens if the game/ company were to go out of business or stop supporting TGC?

It's funny you asked that question...it was the exact reason I asked the original question. I have been in IT a long time and when we sign software contracts we require an escrow agreement in case the company goes bankrupt. That way we would have the source code in a worst case scenario. That is not viable here, so I thought there may be a way to squirrel away a bunch of my favorite courses locally.
