    TGC Cloud!

    TGC cloud option!!!!!

I know E6 are looking at having a cloud option. How many folks would be interested in a TGC cloud option? Say $30-40 per month with a min subscription. Perhaps ProTee should look into this. Great option for Skytrak once out.

    Thoughts?

Well three main questions would have to be answered.
    1. Would this reduce the need to build a powerful PC?
    2. What is the price of the full version?
    3. Is there an hour per month limit?

But to answer your question. Yes of course.

      YES.
If we assume that the cloud version is like a time limited license. E.g. the TGC install and functionality is the same as the stand alone one.
The min duration should be in the range of (what ever time 100$ would buy).
For me personally I would do this because I am not sure I would spend that much time on the sim but I don't know since I have never tried it.
Once properly tested and when you know what you get and want. Then I would make the usual calculation and possibly stay on "rent" or change to buy or none.
Another option that would work for me is a low cost single course version that you can't use for on-line play. Or maybe time limited on-line play that can be used to test it but not play a full round. Great way to evaluate if this is fun or not.

I suspect you will still need a decent computer. Not sure what the price of the full buy version but I suspect $1000. The cloud would be full version, no restrictions or limits.

It might be good for a "try-before-you-buy" scenario. But, $1,000 or less for the full software is hardly worth fussing over. I'd probably just go ahead and buy it outright.

Yeah... If the software is only $1000, I'd just buy it outright. Why bother with a subscription?!

Is this an option they are truly considering, or was it just an idea?
I'd say absolutely if it really is a cloud option running on a remote machine. If it's just the full version downloaded on your PC and you just pay every month I'd say no.
