I know this is silly, but I'm curious if anyone that has TGC has ever played the Magnolia National golf course while simultaneously looping this audio?
I will say I loooooveeee, watching the Masters and playing it virtually at the same time. It's a big event in my garage every year. The wife absolutely hates it, it's great.
well there ya go - pretty much the same thing LOL.
Just started the SIM this year, but yeah I can totally see adding a TV to the garage now. I won't put it where luv2golf did though, that would scare me to death! My friends aren't very good. One already shanked a ball off the end of a hybrid (toe-shanked?) into my skytrak. It immediately shut down. Thankfully, it came back up and has continued to work ever since. I don't think I could hit the unit if I tried!
Yeah I had to not invite certain people back in the day for everyones safety and to protect my investment. Swinging indoors just really screws with people's heads.
Or just stream the coverage online on a separate monitor. But TV would be best.
They sell TV tuners for PC too. Just have to run a cable line into your tower/TV tuner card. I think they're PCI.....maybe PCI-e? Probably both at this point.
Tekbud is correct. The next house I build the TV will go on the other side of the impact screen. It's about 5' off the ground so it would be quite the shank to hit it.
That being said, TV's are so cheap these days I'd almost dare someone to hit it......
Here's how I run my TV. Second projector for about 600 bucks. It's flat and prevents any worry of being hit on back swing. It's great when I run live feed video for lessons as well.
