Small issue when playing the golf club.......advice needed

When I play with the game set a 1400 x 1050, to fit my screen, it will stop during rounds frequently. I play it in full screen mode, not windowed so that might be the problem. Often times, we will be at the 16th or 17th hole and it closes and reverts back to the lowest setting and is windowed. I can barely see the screen. There are several courses that I have wanted to list as favorites, but I am unable to because I didn't finish the round. Just wanted to know if there are any work arounds or fixes to this problem. this happened to me when i ran in fullscreen mode and would accidentally hit my caps lock button. since then im in windowed mode.

I noticed that the caps lock button does minimize the full screen, so I am careful not to hit that now. It still does it somewhat often without hitting that button. When I tried windowed,1920 x 1080 it fit the screen somewhat well, but cut off some of the top data. Maybe I should play it in windowed at a slightly lower resolution until there is a potential fix

This happens to me too. It also happens in PG. I narrowed it down to some kind of notification in Windows. It runs fine windowed so I never bothered to do anything about it.

Looks like I'll be running it in windowed too as it seems that any updates or notifications in the background cause this. Will have to find the best resolution, but it will be nice to finish rounds now and add courses to favorites. Thanks for verifying that it's not just me!

Yeah, not sure why these programs won't go from fullscreen to another window back to full screen.
