Interactive mini map

Any idea if there could be development of a mini map in TGC like the one in optishot ????
I know there is a mini map but it's rather useless as it doesn't show you any info

Would be good it gave you ball position and you could interactively put vectors on it to see distances to possible next shots (like in optishot)

Yes I also know that distances can be looked at by pressing E ... But even on that map it's little bit confusing as you will have to calculate ... Would be even good if you could have distance tool on there

They are about to have a big update that will be including a interactive mini map, take a look at the most recent page of this thread i linked and protee lists the upcoming features and show the new mini map in the video they posted. The update should be out in the next 2 weeks if there are no set backs according to them

That im not exactly sure of yet, there haven't been any big TGC updates i believe (other then course syncs that happen automatically) since it came out for the skytrak. Ive heard it may go out in emails, but maybe a download link will be posted on the forum somewhere. Im sure someone will have a more accurate answer to this then me and respond soon

Some are testing the new update. The mini map is fully interactive. You'll get an email form Protee with the link to download and update when it's launched. Cross your fingers there's no bugs.

ProTee will email you a download link when it is ready. I have had TGC since August and can say that ProTee is fantastic regarding providing updates to TGC. 4 or 5 major updates a year is great. Their commitment to making TGC better for us is refreshing. Too many times it's all about the money and less about the product. We have to keep the suggestions coming. The time of day feature will be big for me as my projector is only 1600 lumens. In the past I stayed away from dark courses because of this.

Update comes out, you get an email with a download link. The link replaces old files and refreshes the shortcut links. It's pretty painless.

I just saw tho that the new update is available v3.0 but sadly I've not received any mails regarding how to update or where is the usage link

When you open TGC before selecting which course, choose settings ---Gameplay. Turn on hole minimap. That should do it.

Thanks Doc, guess I haven't gone into settings for a while, I thought maybe there was a key to switch it on and off while playing...............
