Tin Cup moments

While playing a practice round on Congessional, was playing pretty well and hooked my last hole drive into the woods and tried to hit out of it and onto the green and hooked it in the water, tried again twice, did the same twice. So then I was determined to hit a decent shot before I ended my night and chipped out of the woods after a rewind to this position on the fairway and was going to keep rewinding from here for as long as I needed to until I got a decent shot before I went to bed (even managed to shank one of them) but then the rest was magical haha. Had to post this video for all those that tin cupped the last hole and needed a little revenge haha. Watch until the end for the payoff. PS: ignore the giant holes in the screen, they started out small but now have grown to that after 2 or 3 weeks of use after the holes started (new screen on the way soon). Anyone else have any triumphant Tin Cup moments they like to share, I love to see them. Gonna play my actual tournament rounds tonight and hopefully I don't put myself in this position again as rewinds are not an option.

I also had a tin cup moment today at The National. They put a new back tee on 12. It's crazy. I hit a good drive and tried to carry the trees on the left for my second with an 8 iron lay up 3 times. Lol

I had a moment like that during my tourney round. I hit a shot from about where you were into the water. Took the drop, had a 40 yard chip over the corner of the water, but kept dunking it into the water haha.

2nd round of the tourney ...... scored an 11 on that hole. I still finished not too bad considering the 11. That's my tin cup story..... only John told me to pick up my ball.

Played a round sat and the same shot on 18 but I was a little farther out at 195 to the hole, I thought 7i layup but no it did the same as yours but mine was pull hook but landed where yours did and got double

Haha that hole sounds like it got plenty of us. Yea, keither5150 and rsuslow, your stories in the tournament threads are what inspired me to post this in the first place. Gotta take one back for the golfers once in a while. It got like 7 of my balls but cant take away the feeling of going to sleep on a hole out from 173 yards.....even though it was probably for like and 12 or 13 on the hole haha.

I dont know what it is about that 18th hole, it just magnets a hook. Wasnt hitting that much of a draw all round until I got there. I might miss this tournament as I got stuck for a double at work tonight, but definitely gonna give this course another go at some point to try to finish it normally........or ill just leave it as I did.........and forever remember the day that another 18th hole beat me, but on this night, I chose to tell a course for all golf kind that we will not go quietly into the night, we will not not vanish without a fight, we're going to live on......you know the rest haha
