    Possibility to recreate real golf course from Google Maps picture

    Hi guys, I would like to know if is it possible to use an areo imagine of a real golf course to recreate quicker the same course.
    This will be a good news, because, if not it's very expensive in terms of time to recreate it starting from 0.

      In general, yes it is. But it's by no means easy. There is quiet some stuff about it on the HB forum. You can use programms like transparent window in combination with google maps to do the outlines of the course, holes, greens fairways..... However the creating takes time and practice. Lots of both. I gave it a try once and if your not used to the creator and have to figure stuff out it takes a lot of time. Even the good experianced creators need a lot of time. I was about half way through my crecreation when i took a break (still on break hahahaha) and spend already somewhere around 150 hours on it.

          You can use google but it won't give you great elevations. It'll give you a lot though.
