I just discovered the Shot Rewind button under settings today. Does anyone else feel that ProTee should shut off, or at least limit, shot rewinds for online play? I just played the tourney that someone created called Sony Open. I played my absolute best and can only think of maybe 2 strokes I could have saved. I won't name the individual, but a guy was -8 thru 8. Come on! I shot -14 for two rounds and couldn't have played better, but this other player is -11 with a full round left to play. No... I didn't rewind a single shot, but I have a hard time believing he didn't. My GC2 did miss a couple of shots and I had to swing again, but never used rewind.

Oh it's you again. This clown already sent me a message declaring how sad it is that I cheat in sim golf. This is in addition to the one he sent me a couple weeks ago cussing me out as well. I really wish there was a block function on here so I didn't have to read his garbage all the time. You're obviously blissfully ignorant of the fact that my shot recording is turned on. Go look at everyone of my shots (because I know you will) and you'll see that I haven't used any rewinds, period. I use the Skytrak that you claim is vastly inferior and still don't use rewinds. Because I don't have to. Maybe turn your shot recording on before you go accusing me. Jesus I wish I could just block you.

VV...... I was chasing you today..... but I couldn't catch you. I had hope as I was -6 through 7. I have my shot data turned on and posted my video on YouTube for all to see. My system is similar to ProTees..... I have spin calculations at 100%. I was playing a little over my head today and was lucky on more than one occasion..... But I also missed 3 eagle putts from between 17 and 21 feet.

A wise man once said, "Those who get defensive unassumingly admit guilt." The SkyTrac shows no side spin and it is much easier to score on the SkyTrac compared to the GC2. That may explain a couple of strokes, but -8 thru 8 I find very very unlikely. I don't know how to view your shots or turn anything on or off. I would have prior to this post if I knew how. I will never use the rewind! If your score is legit... then your score is legit, and I say great playing to you sir. I just don't know how it's possible. I still say I want to play you live! And BTW... Why are you so angry? I am not trying to pick a fight with you! I was simply asking a legitimate question. I hope your evening gets better, and you can relax a little.Originally posted by Vincent_Vega View PostOh it's you again. Hey now... I'm not so arrogant that I don't believe someone is capable of beating me. It happens all the time. I just find it crazy amazing to go -8 thru 8. Good for him! I still feel the same about the mulligans. They should at least be limited.Originally posted by Jwheels9876 View PostThat guy played his best, how dare you play better than him!!

How do I turn them on? I can't find it anywhere... Nor can I find where to view someone's shots.Originally posted by goatbarn View PostThis is awesome.
Tom, chill. People are looking at shot records for cheating. You do not have shot recording turned on, VV does, and he didn't cheat.
Turn shot recording on, and be proud of your good play.

Tom, http://golfsimulatorforum.com/forum/...or/online-play
You will find all you need in the first couple of posts. You can disregard any of the posts that were started prior to 2016.
How to turn on shot recording is there.
To view other's shots. Go to the tour site. click on tour players, pick a player, scroll down until you see. Recorded tour shots and recorded shots non tour.
You can PM ProTee if you need any help turning on shot recording.

If I shoot 69 or better I'm happy. My home club isn't overly difficult though. 6700 yards and 72/132 rating and slope. Flat, old school, tree lined type layout. But most of my scores fall in that 68-72 range. I ended this last summer with my lowest handicap I've ever had. I've been playing for about 20 years now, but I think the sim absolutely helped me improve. The main thing was figuring out and grooving that consistent swing with the irons. In addition to that, it also helped me continue to improve my angle of attack with a driver and keep lowering my backspin. Obviously I'd love to have a GC2 with HMT to get that club data, but I don't think there's any way I would have played as well as I did the last year without using a Skytrak over the winter.Originally posted by Jwheels9876 View PostVADA testing for you sir.... Hey, what do you shoot in real life compared to sim play? I'm fairly new back into golf and really trying to get better before the nice weather gets here. Did you improve using the sim or were you already so good that it just keeps your swing constant?

Thank so for the reply. So your scores seem pretty consistent IRL and sim play with the occasional amazing round you just had in the recent tourney. I hit 85 this past summer which was an accomplishment for me at least. I'm also struggling badly hitting down with the driver and that's my next set of practice drills I'm gong to work on as well. Then on to finally getting rid of the outside in swing for good..

Ok... I'm ready to let bygones be bygones. You apparently have some game, and I never indented to put your game down. I've been playing golf for 30 years. My lowest handicap index was +4.2 about 9 years ago. I've had numerous injuries that have stopped me from getting any better. If you're serious about your game, spend the money and buy the GC2. The difference isn't even measurable! You'll never regret it!Originally posted by Vincent_Vega View Post

Nobody can argue that the GC2 is the best. And nobody can argue that ST is great value. If protee can somehow add their sensor mat to both systems for about $1200 or so......OMG. I recently upgraded my 2 camera system with a sensor mat. Unbelievable to have the club data when working on shot shaping. I have maybe worked 3-4 hours so far on it and have seen vast improvements. Rewinds are needed for systems like mine.... although I have had the need only once in about 5 rounds. I have looked at data from some of the ProTee users and when you see a HA of 25 degrees.... you know that nobody is that bad and it must be a misread. I think that my last misread was a 40 mph putt from about 14 feet. It went flying into the bushes across the green. Rewinds are there for those who need them. Players need to know that they do not have to defend the validity of any rewind. Nobody in their right mind would use rewinds for cheating considering that the player's shot data is there for all to see. Not everyone is in their right mind though. A while back somebody PM'd me and asked me why I was hitting until I was happy on a certain hole...... I wasn't, I got a 10 on that hole. Those who want to analyze data better be careful that they look at the scorecard and put two and two together.

Best thread ever. The one that has shot recording off accuses the one that has shot recording on of cheating. Lmfao. I knew you cheated vega. BwaaaaMy Courses:

FYI, mulligans show up in recorded shots then one of the tour commissioners sends you a message asking why you had a rewind. That's Keither and I. If you don't have shot recording on, your scores don't count. Look at past leaderboards. Scores are gone. If you cheat we kick you out. We can't get rid of rewinds because not everyone has a gc2 or Skytrak. Both give very reliable results.Originally posted by tlhammond5 View Post

Sensor systems get an average of 3 bad reads a round requiring a rewind.
