A hidden gem in North London on the Hertfordshire border, it is often overlooked because of it's more illustrious neighbours - Hadley Wood to the East (Open qualifying venue), South Herts to the south (with it's past Ryder Cup associations), and the brash newcomer literally over the road to the west - The Shire (the only Seve Ballesteros course in the UK). Old Fold certainly holds it's own in my opinion, and is good enough to have hosted Open pre-qualifying in the recent past.
