  • Audubon CC (L) - Louisville, KY

Good evening! I would like to invite you to play my newly published course, Audubon CC (L), located in Louisville, KY. Designed in 1908 by Thomas Bendelow, the Audubon Country Club golf course has been regarded as one of the finest championship golf courses in the region for more than a century. The golf course features tree lined zoysia fairways and bentgrass putting greens and measures just over 6,800 yards from the championship tees. Recent updates by local architect, Spencer Holt, have kept the course current in its presentation. Lifetime home to hall of famers Pee Wee Reese and Paul Hornung, Audubon has entertained public figures like Bobby Jones, Bing Crosby, Happy Chandler, Walter Hagen, Babe Zaharias and Carol Channing in its storied past. In recent years, Audubon has been the frequent host of the Kentucky Open, Kentucky State Amateur, Kentucky Senior Amateur and KGA Mid-Amateur state championships. With its natural setting, close proximity to downtown as well as the University of Louisville and other Louisville landmarks, Audubon is the perfect country club home for golfers of all ages and ability levels.

Nice. Good job on another Louisville course. I used to drive past this course on my Morning commute to UofL. It's a really nice country club with a very well-kept course. Just from the pictures, I'm amazed at how well you've done the buildings surrounding the course. I liked your other courses too btw. I need to redo the 'Cresent Hill', and spell it right with the new tee on the 8th hole to get the Louisville collection right. For others out there, it's a short par 3 hole way uphill to a flat green. The new tee is a blind shot uphill. It's crazy hard par 3 in real life.

I've been thinking about how to do Shawnee GC. The Sherman-Menton Bridge, high in the air over the course has to be the toughest thing to model in TGC2019.

Hey guys RB4325 and Chuck - thanks, this looks great... I'm tempted to make the drive to Louisville to play it, but I thank you for putting in such excellent work in design.... Soon, I'll have my new PC in place to allow me to play TGC2019 and I can play all these fine courses.

      Thank you,
      -Brett
