  • Howto: Reinstalling or moving to a new PC (TGC 2019 & Uneekor)

Scenario: Want to reimage your PC or moving to a new PC (upgrade), how to move licenses like TGC 2019 and in my case Uneekor Ignite and Refine

Instructions: 1). Make sure to grab the machine ID and the license from your current TGC 2019. (PS, got this from a google search, not my actual info. Keep these things private and do not share with anyone, except when support asks for it)

2). Make sure to have the copy of your machine ID and license key, prior to reimage your PC. If you are using a different PC or a new PC, you will need to install the TGC 2019.

3). Create a Protee support ticket about the license transfer. In the ticket, state that you are imaging or moving to a different or new PC. Most likely, they will reply you and ask for your old and new machine ID and the old license. You can be proactive and provide that in the initial support ticket to save some time.

4). Since I have Uneekor, I also had to get a new license file from their support team. You can email them support@uneekor.com, and start that process. They will ask you for your serial number, or your old license file, and should assist you. (You should have the USB flashdrive that came with your Uneekor to reinstall the software.)

I got the blue screen of death with my PC. Had to reset and reinstall windows. I reinstalled TGC2019 but console indicates that my license isn't valid. I assume this is because I now have a new Machine ID. Unfortunately, I don't have access to the old Machine ID as it was lost in the Windows crash. Any idea what to do in this case? Anything I should say to Protee in my communication with them?

    Thanks!

Do you have the email that you received from Protee with the license key & machine ID that you sent them when you first bought TGC 2019? If not, at least a proof of purchase would be needed I would think.
