QED Swing Optix Question

Hi Guys,

I am very happy with my QED System and the recently added Swing Optix cameras.

This said, some minor issues popped up:

The replay video starts too late, especially with driver Shots.
Upswing already on its way in the first shown frame.

Since there has been no manual included with the cameras, I wonder
if there is a software option to adjust the 'delay'- time.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

I had that exact issue after an update, but with Amazon cameras. Sent a video of the issue to austin at support so he could show the developers, they sent a patch within a day that fixed the problem. Call support.

ok, then i have to call my local support.
Strange, that there is no easier way to fix that problem such as a delay-number somewhere in
(a yet to discover) option-menu.

Today another thread about ball-flight-distance in QED mentioned an altitude-setting program in the QED folder,
which have to be run to set up the altitude. Not very customer-friendly, i think, haven't found that infomation in the QED manual
where this should have been mentioned imho.

I have the exact same issue as well. The swing optix has had this issue since it shipped on 6-16. I have contacted support multiple times, but still no fix. Below is the latest reply from support on 8-30

"Our apologies for the delay on this. Our developers will go through their list of fixes as soon as they can. I have forwarded your emails to them. We can notify you once there is a future update to address the settings."

I am interested in purchasing. I have tested with a cheap webcam and was wondering if there was a way to show your swing replay and ball flight at the same time within Ignite? On Refine is it possible to show a replay of your swing show up automatically in slow motion? When I tested within Refine, I could only get the auto replay to show full speed. Thanks!

To my knowledge, the only option is an automatic replay at full speed.

I have the swing optix cameras as well and had them shipped to me at the same time I purchased the EYEXO system on original release date. I too have issues with the recording starting late. I give lessons and different tempos provide different results. I am not sure why they cant correct this. There is plenty of time after the shot is taken that is wasted time of recordings.

I agree. I also ordered my swing optics package with the original EYE XO release. Four months seems like a long time to fix such a glaring issue.

One month later.....

is there finally a solution for our 'start too late recording' issue.
Today a friend of mine came over to practice some shots...... worse than my recorded swings,
replay of upswing starts with club parallel to ground, way too late (2 secs)

Unfortunately still no solution. I have contacted support on this issue more times than I care to mention. Support has sent me a couple of bug repair attempts via patches, but neither patch was successful. No noticeable change thus far.

I was reluctant to post until I had a chance to test the patch a bit more thoroughly, but it appears we now have a working patch for the "start too late" bug. I have been using it for about 2 weeks and so far so good.

Ahh that's good to know they've patched it. I have that problem frequently. Looking forward to the official update.

so my camera doesn't start at the same speed as the other one. Same issue? There is an awful lot of grain in my picture as well, any suggestions there?
