  • Only 1 camera displaying in QED

I have two cameras setup (behind and from the side) which were previously working flawlessly. Recently, I can only get one to display. I can switch the USB port and the other camera will then show up in the left pane, but nothing in the right. In the drop down, I can see both cameras and their various resolutions listed. More weird is that if I select a large resolution (640x480), then something will show up in the right pane, but the video is really messed up. Anyone else seeing something similar? How can I tell if an upgrade was recently applied? Also, I have Kinovea on this PC (Windows 11) as well and both show up within that app with no issues, so I don't think it is the camera but more related to the software.

I am having this same problem, not sure if it was due to a windows update? I don't believe anything has been updated on Uneekor end in a while.

I have had this issue and the problem was the cameras sharing one USB "bus". Try this, plug one camera into a USB 2 port and another into a ubs 3 port. See if that works.

I appreciate both of these responses. I had already tried the USB port switching and that didn't impact anything. I did get it to work finally, and these were the steps I took. On Windows 11 (not sure about Windows 10), I went to the Troubleshooter (To do this, click the Start menu, then click the cog icon on the left, which will open up the Settings window. Click 'Update & Security' then 'Troubleshoot') and selected Camera. After running this process, I then rebooted and the issue was resolved. While this worked for me, it might not work for everyone.

Hi. Trying to address the same issue with my eye mini and 2 spinel web cams.

Tried the two things mentioned above: separate usb ports (they were previously on one hub) and troubleshoot each camera (does a usb camera reset). This made it so I could see the second camera pane in the swing tab. Progress! However, the image was frozen on pane 2.

Also, swing videos are not being recorded (when I go back to a previous swing, there is no video) .

It seems my laptop does not want to play 2 webcams at once... Using Windows 11 and current generation Lenovo gaming laptop.

This laptop only has 2 usb a ports and it is possible they are on the same usb bus. Next thing I could try is to connect to usb c, but need to buy a usb a to c hub.

          Thoughts?

Update #(still not working). Installed kinovea app. Looks like the same issue. I can see each of my camera one at a time (spinel cam 1, 2 and integrated laptop web camera). But when I try to view 2 web cameras at the same time, the second one won't display. Probably a Windows setting issue. Any ideas??
