I've got my sim set up currently using Skytrak. Works well enough, but I'm considering the upgrade to Uneekor for a couple reasons. One of which being one of my sons is a lefty and if he starts playing more swapping the Skytrak back and forth gets to be a real pain.
My main question is about the placement of a QED vs EyeXO. As you can see in the picture I've got my projector more or less right above the hitting position. That position is about 8 1/2 feet from the screen.
QED would be no issue. There's room behind the hitting position to mount on the ceiling where it needs to go. The main drawback to me is the marked balls (although there seems to be enough ways to make this work with any type of ball) and then lack of some of the data, primarily angle of attack I think is the main one you'd get with EyeXO but not with QED.
My concern is if I went the EyeXO route, it needs to be placed in front of the hitting position. Would it be right in the way of the projector? Or the projector in the way of where the cameras need to see? I'm on the fence on if I really need the EyeXO or not and if it's going to require a different projector or moving a bunch of stuff around again that might be the clincher against it.
