  • Uneekor XO, XO2 or Foresight Sports GC3

Hey! Been on here a long time. Still have GC2 with TGC and GS Pro.
I'm researching for a friend that wants a golf simulator.
Considering recommending the Uneekor EYE MINI LITE, Uneekor EYE XO, or maybe the new Uneekor EYE XO2.

I like these options because subscription is only $199 to get 3rd party sim software (TGC or GS Pro)

I have GC2 and love it. But the new product GC3, I think it requires $500/year subscription to make it work with TGC and GS Pro.

Is that true? I've seen someone say you pay that sub and I saw others say you don't have to pay the $500 sub with TGC and GS Pro with Foresight GC3.

    What's true?

What hardware would you recommend at this point with the 3 I mentioned above? Is Uneekor really good? YouTube shows it's good. I have GC2 so know the GC3 probably would be good with accuracy. Let me know your real thoughts.

Also I looked up for my friend to purchase TGC on ProTee website and it says "Sold Out". Are they not selling TGC 2019 anymore? If so where do you buy it at?
Sorry for all the questions, just want to get a good expert answer!

I've had my QED for around 3 years and would buy it again tomorrow if I needed another one. The XO/XO2 are even better. You should have no hesitation at all with that recommendation.

Uneekor hardware is nice, there's not a whole lot of debate about that. But they and a whole lot of other manufacturers are getting a little greedy in a relatively small market segment with subscriptions.

I had a QED at launch fully unlocked with TGC, it was great. Sold and picked up eye mini standard at launch, then uneekor wants to keep their hand in my pocket for longer by getting rid of lifetime options, requiring payment to use 3rd party software they aren't even supporting, etc.

At the end of the day in the current market if I'm doing it over again I'm going with Protee VX and either TGC 2019 one time or GSP if you want that sub.

If you need a portable LM there are other considerations but right now from a private consumer standpoint Protee is killing it and Im heading towards giving them all my business. I think they won't mess it up like the other companies have.
