This thread will be used for posting a list of courses we want to get copied over to TGC sim Protee servers. Protee servers will periodically copy the top courses based on user ratings but we can still make requests for courses we want to get copied over to the Protee servers. We might need a tips from Craig thread where he can help us learn how to do this stuff. Tried to do simple stuff and it is not that simple. Is there a new course designer or is the one that we have the up to date one? One thing I want to learn is if you can have a gradual rise in land from one spot to another, lets say 150 yards away? Seems like I get steps as I try to make the height go up.


Also all the courses on that list, are they all available to play if we just type the name into the line to find a course? We just can't play on line until they are mirrored for Protee... correct?

All the courses including new ones that were published yesterday are now on the ProTee server. You can set your search filter for HB official courses, public courses, favorites, highest rating, newest, etc...

Best way to find a course if you know the name is just to search by entering the first word or two of the course name and press enter.

HB made at least one real courses. It's called World Golf Challenge I think.

SFR just keep playing with designer, there are several tutorials on HB site. There is no new designer. My reference to "new tools" in the designer were new brushes and textures they added in August. These allow more options in design.

Thanks Craig, Not sure if you know this answer, but the laptop I set up to design in has an older version (via Protee for design only and not on line play) and seems like a lot of the items don't work like in the tutorials where you drag out and can re size before dropping.

Are the new tools updated automatically or do you need to manually update?

Automatically, it's easier to design with a xbox game pad than a keyboard I find. At minimum you need to use a mouse with wheel

Pinehurst #2 is pretty fantastic, pretty sure I know the location of our first major when we start the tour on here. One tip, stay below the pin on #3.

The latest update of courses was nice, now we can sort by ratings from the console and PC versions, though some of the top courses are unplayable and 7600 yards long.

The other thing they changed is now all my courses are listed under my name (and all designers) no matter what the platform, not just the ones I published on the simulator software as was the case before Today.

Yeah, The pins are really tough, i have putted off a few greens now. And we thought Muirfield was tough.
