Hole 10: The back nine begins with a scenic little par 4. Don't get too greedy on the tee shot or you will find yourself getting another ball out of your golf bag. You will be left with a wedge into a narrow green that backs right onto the ocean. Don't be long!
Hole 11: The last of the two par 5's, #11 can be a beast and will most likely be a 3 shot par 5. A favorable wind could have gamblers try to go for it in two. If you are laying up, make sure you are not long on your second shot, or you may be wet. Good course management should set up a birdie.
Hole 12: Many will take their drive up the left side of the fairway on this hole, but if you want to risk it...a drive to the narrower right side of the fairway gives you a better angle into the green. Very favorable if the wind is howling here.
Hole 13: is uphill all the way. Don't cut too much fairway off the tee or you will be left in the deep stuff, making it almost impossible to reach the green in two. Short approach shots will be gobbled up by the two nasty greenside bunkers.
Hole 14: Club selection is key here. Pin hunters will be in trouble with this back pin placement. Hit one club less near the center of the green and let the green do the work for you! Much more difficult hole than it looks.
Hole 15: is a long, uphill par 4. Let it rip here, but avoid the two pesky pot bunkers in the fairway. You will have a long-mid iron into this green, and alot of green to work with....use it!
Hole 16: The final par 3 on the course is the longest...usually demanding a fairway wood off the tee. Aim to the center of the green and see what happens.....
Hole 17: From the longest par 3, we go to the shortest par 4...easily reachable in one...just don't be long and watch the wind..we don't want a mistake like we made on hole 6 now, do we?
Hole 18: The final hole is the longest par 4 on the course. A downhill teeshot requires accuracy to avoid the three small, but conveniently placed bunkers. From there, its a tricky mid-long iron shot into a green that slopes from back to front. Land it a bit short for your best chance of getting close.
