  • Kapalua Bay Golf course

This course is coming up on the tour shortly. I played a couple of rounds on it yesterday. Having played it IRL 4 times in 1999, I can tell you that the creator did a great job on the course. The funny thing is, I know the course even better than you would think. I played it about 40 times on Links 1999 prior to going to Maui. Even back then, the video game replicated the real course quite well. It's a great track with top notch service. Number 5 is stunning.

There is a Bay Course as well the Plantation at Kapalua, which one will you be playing. The Plantation has the monster downhill number 18 and is the tour stop.

Which tour is going to the Bay course? PGA has used the plantation course, both are fantastic. Hitting on both 17 and 18 plantation is fun with how far downhill they go.

Is the plantation course on TGC? I was looking for this last week while they were playing the tournament of champions there.

Does anyone know if it's true that this course is much like Long Reef golf course in Sydney. I would love to know since I am familiar with that one the most...
              Thanks guys.
