TGC Fictional Course List - High Quality ProTee/Simulator Courses

Here is a list of High Quality Fictional Courses that were either shortened for ProTee users or fully designed with ProTee users in mind. All courses are named exactly as they appear in the game (simulator version) to help with finding them. With 100,000+ courses to choose from it is very hard to stay on top of them all. There is no way this list will be fully comprehensive but I will do the best I can. It can be re-arranged to call attention to different things as people suggest. Once the ProTee online database allows for ratings it will be much easier to find the best courses. Hopefully GSF_Admin will keep updating this first post as newer versions are posted. I have also included courses geared for kids and specialty courses (ranges, pitch/putt, and miniature golf) at the end. If people like this then perhaps the admin will make it a sticky.

Wow. That took longer than I thought it would. I wanted to get it out in hopes of an impending release of TGC for Skytrak.

Many of these fantastic courses have very few (or zero) plays which is criminal considering how fantastic they are. Plays are only measured on the simulator version so hopefully by maintaining a list we will direct people to the courses that should be played. While the real life recreations will obviously get the most plays, some of these courses are as good, if not better, than the recreations and users would be making a real mistake by not giving some of these a try.

Hope people enjoy it. I will continually update it with new courses and will listen to the suggestions of others with suggestions of courses to add and/or formatting recommendations to make it easiest to reference.

Updated the first post. I think between this list and the Real Course Recreation List that should be all the simulator specific courses in the game at this time with the exception of the HB Official courses. I am not including those courses as they are easy to find and search for through the game search itself. Part of the goal of these two threads is to get more plays on some of these courses to encourage the designers to keep releasing them. The HB Official Courses don't need the extra push.

Working on a couse I hope people will enjoy. It's based off a course here in New Mexico, Santa Ana Golf Course (Tamaya Nine and Star Nine).

My appreciation for course creators was already high, but it just keeps rising as I go through this. I've spent about 28 hours on it already and have 3 holes laid out. I plan on getting the basics of the wholes then going back and adding the folage and making sure the elevations are close as they can be.

I made a little favorites list from the tgc ones I've seen on YouTube from a particular person I subscribed to but he's playing Xbox or the PC. Courses look awesome the problem is you need a PGA Tour professional to hit those Fairways in the simulator. I wish you could edit people's courses

For real courses, check out Le Golf National by Dean Lowden, Oakland Hills by Royce Brown, and Southern Hills by Trey Coursey. For realistic fictional courses, Hillsbrook CC by Craig Sullivan is a definite must play, and you'll do well with any of Rich Banker's designs, particularly The Breakers, Gator Hole G.C. II, and Spartina GC II. If you like links style golf, Jeremy Holmes' Dunes Course at Angel Sands is also really well done. Enjoy your new simulator - there's nothing better than playing video game golf with real clubs!
