This isn't a sim but is used for swing data, do any of you have any experience with it and its results?

I have one and love it! It's a poor man's version of getting club head data without having to spend thousands. Works hand in hand with the SkyTrak. Only negative is that it doesn't play nice with oversized grips.

I assume face angle is just interpolated based on where club is at address vs impact? So if you address w closed face, it might not show a closed face at impact if you return the club to the same position at impact?

Also I'd be curious to see forum members' views and opinions on these various poor man's HMT ~$150 club data devices (i.e., this one, SkyPro, Zepp, 3Bays GSA, etc.).

I had the first Zepp device. Like the M-Tracer a LOT more.

i use 3bays - for what it is, i like it... whilst i don't think it has made me change my swing, i think it has helped recognise some areas of improvement. in reality - i think thats all that you can ask.

how does this work with skytrak? on screen?

I have 3Bays too. I basically use it with SkyTrak to iPad and 3Bays to iPhone.

Agree 3Bays doesn't give much info. I primarily just use it to measure clubhead speed and if I'm coming too much from outside w open clubface.

This Epson M Tracer seems to provide more (and more detailed) club data... Just wondering how accurate these detailed data are to begin with?

Thanks for the input. I went ahead and ordered it, I'll let you know how it works out.

well I'm impressed, good club head data, head speed, attack angle, swing path, head angle, all good info, seems pretty accurate also, a Pro Tee guy here is going to do a comparison to see how it matches up.

Love to hear the results of the comparison.
