With the success of Skytrak, how long do you think it will be until other OEM's like foresight, trackman, flightscope come out with something in the ~$2k range?

Foresight's gc2 is still an incredible piece of kit, but it's 10+ years old and still a little outside most folks budgets.

This question refers to units setup for sim play. The other thought is that these companies will try to release units in the ~$500 range e.g Mevo.

Which do you think it will be? Will companies try to make a unit at the $2k mark, or are they working on building something for the masses at the $500 mark? And when do you think it'll happen?

It's an exciting time in a nascent market. Just wondering people's opinions.

I mean how long is a market "nascent"? Do we have numbers on market and market share? I haven't seen anything like that which would be interesting to see.

I don't think skytrak really had a huge impact(no data just opinion). It is going to be a combination of phones and an associated app that will devastate the hardware side of things. When everyone has the hardware in their pocket and only need a $10/50/100 app to unlock actionable data...That will be a real game changer.

I feel like affordable launch monitors is like fusion power. Always 5/10/20yrs away .
