I do not understand and also I do not know why we cannot get more than one individual account with one simulator or software.
I have Protee hardware with TGC and I have a Skytrak for practice.
Can someone please explain why you cannot have a multiple logins on Skytrak so that family members can keep track of stats? Even if they charged $30 per year to keep them, I would pay for another account. Data like club sets and distances, practice scores and competitions would be nice.
I do not have JPNG or E6. Do they have the ability to have multiple accounts? Not just allow multiple players with different tee boxes, but the ability for multiple logins at the same to keep stats and records from play?
I was hopeful that TGC2 would offer multiple accounts since they had clubhouses and such. No such luck coming from what I understand. I certainly understand the desire to sell products but long term, subscriptions are a great revenue model. A good Idea would be to have 1 lifetime account with every hardware and sell additional accounts on a subscription basis.
This frustration of mine stems from 4 family members of mine who are golfers and we want to track progress as the juniors develop.
Additionally, when playing on TGC with 4 people and you get an unexpected crash or loss of connection you cannot restart the game with the same players at the same spot with same scores. That ruins a great round of play. Or if you only have time for nine holes one night and want to continue the next night, you cannot restart again in the same spot.
From a software programming perspective, I do not believe that this is so hard to do. (any programmers out the who can comment on this?) From a business model, why would you not want an additional revenue model? You still get to sell the hardware and yearly revenues would be icing on the cake.
Just trying to make some sense of this and see if there is a greater desire to have these features from other players...... What do you think??? How do you manage these limitations??
