CCE mat giving me longer distance if hit solid

In my simulator, my distance in either e6, tgc or tps is like 10yds longer if hit very well in the CCE mat.

Is it because its forgiving or is it just the limitation in playing indoor in general?

anyone else having similar issue?

Anytime I hit any mat or ground before the ball it always slows the club down resulting in shorter distance.

Same here but that reflects true life because you hit the ground first before the ball.

I am talking about gaining more distance when I hit it solid in an artificial turf since it’s forgiving.

Anyone else the same?

So it sounds like in that case, you are striking the ball much better and you are seeing what you could get with a solid strike. What is the spin saying, that may be more telling for distance gain.
