You all have about 7,000 more than we do. Our big city however has a metro population of nearly 650,000. And again two of these businesses could not make it there. I never visited one of them. I did go to the other one a couple of times while I was doing some research on what I wanted to do in my own town. Location did not help this particular business in my opinion.

Also another idea is to rent the sims to local golf pros so that they can continue their teaching during the winter months when range lessons are not available. If you have enough space a putting and chipping area would be nice, but ads to the expense. You might put that in instead of say the third hitting bay.

Also I think its Michigan that has a full fledge indoor hitting facility that is one of those air domes. So not only do they have golf, but you can have baseball and softball included. I think the more multi-faceted you can make the facility within reason the better the chance of success.

The cost of liability insurance has to be awful for something like this, yes?

Reading this old thread, curious as to the cost of the build out of one of these places. Seems like an interesting side business.
