Padding a stance mat to match Divot Action height

I recently received my Divot Action To Go (which I am still on the fence about) and am using it with a thin standard stance mat currently. This was not only provided to me for free but also incredibly hand delivered to my door by another forum member here gnomike . Thanks again mate!!

My issue is that the stance mat is only about an inch thick wheras the divot action is just over 1.5 inches high at its apex. I only use the stance mat to stand on while hitting the ball from the Divot Action To Go so I am wondering what is the best/easiest way to increase the height of the mat for someone without amazing DIY skills??

I was thinking either:

• MDF boards glued underneatg
• Particle Board underneath
• Foam or rubber tiles

Anyone have experience in this area and what works best?

You could just lay it on top and if doesn't move around you're all set. If not, you could go with an adhesive or double sided carpet tape.

I used this to glue some artificial turf to a rubber mat.

You are most welcome, buddy! Sorry the mat iisn't the right thickness for your needs. You know what's funny, though? I have some of that 1/2" foam tile stuff. If I'd read your post yesterday I could have dropped it off today! Work took me right by your place again lol Doh!! Anyway, the stuff Boerdoc mentioned is also available at Home Depot and is relatively cheap... and is perfect for the height adjustment. I agree with wbond that it shouldn't even move & if it does, just glue/tape it. Easy peazy mac & cheesy, as my 5yo would say.
