I’m a very new member who is really enjoying the forum. I’m looking to purchase something on the low end of the chart to get my feet wet. I like the idea of the R-motion and it’s ability to work with the SkyTrak as a future combo. However i believe it doesn’t currently run on Mac or IOS. With that being said the tittle does work with both. I’m curious to hear everyone’s feed back on the 2. I’ve looked and havent seen much on comparing them on the site but could be looking in wrong places. Also is the convenience of the of the swing stick with tittle seems nice but I’m not sure how accurate it is either. I will be using it indoors as well as possibly outdoors until I decide if I’m going to convert my garage into a sim. Thank you in advance for any and all input! I’m just looking for a way to practice and play while we go through this crazy hot weather in Tx

R-motion vs Tittle x

I have both. R-motion has better support and a good user group. The physics modeling is also better in R-motion. Tittle has a very attractive price and has both PC and Android/IOS apps if you look on E-bay you can find it for less than $200. I've seen it as low as $109 new which is a bargain. Tittle is a more advanced sensor with very cool OLED display. I like the E6 software more than the TGC for graphics and play, but both play golf about equally well. R-motion is setup for use in a real simulator with real balls, where as Tittle can be made to work in a real simulator. See my videos on youtube; search for "Real Tittle Golf". If you go Tittle, you will want to checkout the videos on home-made cradles. R-motion has their club clips and they are kind of pricey but if found that the my Tittle home-made cradles with a small change can be used for R-motion as well (you can find that in the R-motion group). R-motion is also working on an iphone app for use on the range, and Tittle already has a couple. My beef with R-motion is TGC, which is a stripped down single player game with limited courses. E6 is similar in a way but it does provide an on-line score card system. Game play seems better on E6. The future looks good for both, so it will be interesting to see how they position themselves in the market come around Nov, Dec.

Chuck thanks so much for the info I’ve read a lot of your posts. So did I understand you is the iOS app for R motion only gonna work for range. I was hoping it would allow me to play the course via my iPad as well. If not I may just end up going with tittle after all until I get my SkyTrak. Thanks again

The iPhone app for R-motion is in beta and their are a few screen shots in the R-motion discussion area. It sounds like your set on a full scale simulator with a skytrak, so yes, if you have the extra change, I think you have a good choice there.Courses Created:

Hi all
i have the exact same decission to make.
thanks chuck for the feedback.
now i have some last defining questions fot this comparison.
i saw in a youtube video that the r-motion is catching fades and draws pretty well of the clubface.
questions 1) is the tittle x also able to catch draws and fades?
question 2) do either tittle x or r-motion actually read the impact of the ball on the club face at some point or is the technology only to read the rotation and club speed?
question 3) are either tittle x or r-motion catching ball rotation on the ball such as back spin and side rotation
furthermore i would like to know the difference between lets say a r-motion and the ES12 or ES14 as these are in a slightly higher price range.
best, roger
