I am using Skytrak and TGC for my home simulation. I am currently using a XGA projector Epson X-05. The aspect ratio I am projecting is 4:3. I have been altering a larger room for my home simulation course and hope to move over a couple of weeks later. The screen will be wider, and I am planning to buy a new projector, Optoma WU 515ST. It is a WUXGA projector and I’d like to have a 16:10, 1920 x 1200, projection to increase the emerging effect. However, I found that 1920 x 1080 is the best in the resolution selection of TGC. How can I select its resolution setting to produce a best result?

No worries. It is 16:9 compatible. You will just select as the aspect ratio 16:9 instead of 16:10.

Thank you bionicboogerboy. My idea was to fully use the screen height. Since I decided the projector I ordered a screen for 16:10 . It is also to fully use the dimension of my space. If it is projected in 16:9, then there will be blank strips on top and bottom of the screen. May be I should select the 1680:1050 instead, but sacrifice some resolution.
