Simulator / Launch monitor help

So I picked up an old hitting mat from a local course, I have a pretty powerful desktop, and spare TV. I bought a cheapo net online (that I hope will hold up for now)

Eventually If I keep up with the hobby I will upgrade everything to end up with a projector and impact screen etc.

Looking for sims I get confused by all the marketing jumbo. I see 200 dollar units advertising they do just as much as the high end units.
Are there brands to stay away from? or certain brands to go towards?

My criteria:
ACCURACY, my number one thing because why else have a sim?
1000 bucks max.
Ideally would like to not have a monthly or yearly subscription (for now)
I do not plan on playing too much multiplayer online but would like to have buddies over so just a few preloaded courses would be fine.
This will mostly be used for game improvement so the more things it can track (accurately) the better
I would like to track things like swing speed, spin, launch angle, draws, fade, club path, smash factor, carry, ball speed, face angle, etc
Also I am lefty so it has to be able to adjust to lefty and righty fairly quickly

You will not find what you are looking for in that price range. It just doesn't exist.

About 10K gets you a GC2 and HMT which gives you both club and ball data. There are also flightscope and trackman options, but you need more room indoors for radar units and generally indoors people have more faith in the GC2.

For 1K, you wont get anything that will meet those demands. I recommend spending a bit more and look at the Protee or Skytrak. Good luck and keep us posted.

I think Skytrak is your best option here. And as far as playing sim courses, you will need to spend the $100-200 per year in subscription costs for play and improve. Then $895 The Golf Club 2019.

I will keep the forum posted. I am trying to just get a cheap system up and running to see if i keep up with the hobby. We are building a house in the next year and If I am still into it, I am planning on doing a full on sim / man cave room. I will post a fun build of that when the time comes
