  • Help !!!! understanding ball data

Hey so I could use some help. I keep seeing spin numbers that don’t make sense to me on my quad. Please help me understand.
How can I get a swing with negative face to path value and right spin that fades? I’m getting a bunch of these on my new quad and want to make sure it’s working right. Thanks

Hitting it off the heel can have fade spin even thought the club is closed relative to the path. It looks like that example shot was a little towards the heel. You are pretty close to zero for face to path and spin axis so that is likely the difference.

You have your quad set to fact to target not path. You have an in-out path with an open club face to target. This will produce a right launch and the heel strike is likely increasing the right axis spin.

Here is another. Thanks for the help. I feel like I have to understand it to try and get better. For the most part it seems like a center hit. But I have 2 degrees open face to path which I would think would make for right spin not left. Any thoughts?

I personally don't like the side spin RPM and prefer the axis tilt. It's easier for my mind to correlate. That one you are coming inside out quite a bit which is imparting the right to left spin. That should be a push right that draws back in slightly. You are basically cutting across the ball with a slightly 2* open face which is causing the ball path right. Remember the Quad is assuming the target line is whatever it's been calibrated to or simply it's middle.
