So for the longest time, I have been really struggling to hit a driver with any semblance of a draw or straight. Distance and spin/roll has always been very high and low roll out. Well I went out for the first time this year to play, just absolutely dreading hitting driver, go to the range first, start off with some really nice drives, straight and even a few with a tight little draw. I'm thinking, no way... Gotta be the wind pushing that ball back...
Literally the best I have ever driven the ball in my life, when I got out on the course. Only once did I miss the fairway, and that was a snap hook (Bad swing thought) All drives were distance wise right around the 270 mark with roll out (not much due to very soft fairways and wind). So what I would tell you guys, is that if you are feeling a little down on yourself with some sim play or practice, try to get to a range every once in a while. I'm a happy camper now!
