This Basic Set Up Look Good?

Before my new house is done I want to get a basic set up going while I'm stuck at home bored AF. Does this looks like everything I'll need?

Its good Justin, but for the full experience I suggest you get an impact screen and projector.

I second Bubba's comment about the screen and projector. Once you're $4k+ into it there's no sense in skimping on the rest of the experience.

I'm getting a full bay and impact screen at my new house. But its all made to fix the room. Don't want to try and set all of this up in my garage for now... will be a pain in the ass.

Also, I have a real nice laptop, so I can use that to run it.

Then this should be fine. Is the plan to transfer this to the new house once done? You could consider the Flightscope Mevo plus as your sim if space is not an issue, although beware its a new unit and needs the communities vetting before one can say. However the reviews are Mevo plus somewhat promising.

damn $850 for a mat... Not a lot of great reviews from the sim community for that brand either. I can also attest to those reviews.

I would suggest Fiberbuilt or Divot Action. Lot's of reviews about mats in the forum. Save some money there as well and but it towards a used GC2 over the skytrak.

Also True Strike Mat for around the same $$. When I first set up (same as you, Garage, no screen/projector, etc.) The one thing that made it much more pleasurable was the 42" TV screen I set up (as opposed to using an iPad or Laptop). Not a ton more effort and reasonably (reasonably) cheap.
