    Understanding Golf Simulation Parameters

Hey guys. First post - I apologize if this has been written about before (in which case, please direct me to the forum). Appreciate all the help and support you guys offer!

I am a beginner golfer - picked it up mid-season last year and have been addicted since (Im in Toronto so the season is fairly short).

I have recently pulled the trigger on a Mevo+ and am setting up my simulator in the garage. I have never had professional training and can't afford it either so that is out of the question.

I want to use the simulator to keep up the swing through the winter months but also to dial in my iron distances and work on hitting a consistent straight shot.

Is there anything you guys can help me with to better understand the parameters supplied from the Mevo+ (once it arrives at the end of April/beginning of May)?

The Mevo+ supplies carry distance, club head speed, smash factor, apex height, flight time, ball speed, spin rate, vertical launch angle, horizontal launch angle, lateral landing, angle of attach, total distance, roll distance, spin axis, spin loft and shot shape.

I am basically looking for your help in reading the data to analyze my swing to make changes where necessary. Potentially this would be easier with some data but no mevo+ yet so trying to better understand this information prior to its arrival.

Thank you for your time! Stay safe everyone!
