Floor mounted Projector case

Has anyone made their own floor projector case?
Im in the UK and the floor projector cases/covers are hard to come by. Wondering if i can just build an MDF type ramp the whole way across the floor to house the projector in.
I have to hit slightly off centre so im thinking if i only have the projector covered it might be an odd feeling with something in the way to the left if that makes sense. Hence making the ramp the length of the mat and screen.

I made one, pretty simple. I used 1/2” plywood I believe. Covered it in fake turf. I don’t use it anymore, switched to ceiling mount instead. It worked well though, simple ramp style with Lexan in the front with homes drilled smaller than a golf to vent it. My only concern was it getting to warm.

Thanks Brandon, i think if i make the ramp wide with air holes it will be ok! i will give it a try
