Hoping I can get some opinions and contrasts between these 3 sims for Skytrak. Does Skytrak run smoother on a particular sim? I've demo'd E6 and have played on CG3D. Havent tried TGC 2019. Is trhere a case for more than one sim software?
Skytrrak- If u had to choose one : TGC 2029, E6, or Creative golf 3D and why

I don't think the launch monitor is that directly coupled to the simulator software that it would work better on one versus the other. So I don' think that's where you should worry.
I've used E6 and love the feel of the graphics. I currently own TGC2019 and what I like is the sheer number of courses available, which ensures that you're never going to get bored with the same 30 courses. Many of the courses are Lidar mapped versions that play very close to the actual courses - and of course there are a huge number of courses that are just not very good, but you can pass them by pretty quickly.
The bigger thing to consider is the number of bugs in the simulator software you choose. For example E6 allegedly has periodic connections problems though I haven't seen this myself. The biggest annoyance I have with TGC2019 is the bug related to hitting from an uphill lie. Often even with a stellar hit the ball will pop up vertically and then plop down about 15 yards in front of you. I really wish they would fix this bug because it has cost me countless strokes.
If you have the money then get a couple of different simulator packages. There is no perfect simulator so if you're just starting out be prepared for regular updating of your entire setup. It's a very slippery slope

It's hard to argue with the value of TGC. $900 for literally thousands of courses with new ones published practically every day. Plus the ability to design and upload your own courses. It's a lot of fun playing your local courses or the 9 hole muni you played as a kid in addition to obviously all the famous courses. Plus you can play an online tournament any day of the week at no extra cost, whereas I think e6 charges like $300 a year for online play(?). The solo societies against a full field of computer players are also fun because it gives you complete control over the schedule and course setup. I've been playing the regular PGA Tour schedule with all of the real courses with grandstands and fans. Tons of fun.

I have a SkyTrak and debated between TGC2019 and E6. I was able to trial E6 and it was nice enough. Even though There was no trial and the lifetime license was a bigger investment than E6, I chose TCC2019 due to the number of courses available and for the designer. I wasn’t sure if I would have the skill or patience to design courses but I jumped in and already designed several of my local courses with the help of the LiDAR tool. I am extremely happy with my decision.Japan
