My dream setup would be a GC2 with HMT, with protee for TGC and a high speed Video camera possibly running swing catalyst with the pressure plate. Obviously this is going to cost, so is there any other cheaper alternatives.
The cheapest alternative so far for me would be a skytrak LM, using Skypro for limited club data, with a camera (possible my iphone linked to a laptop) running kinovea.org software to record swings. Obviously there will be a few niggles with this.
Like could I run skytrak/skypro together on same IPad? Could I get kinovea to automaticaly record swings by hopefully the impact noise.
With E6 coming soon the laptop would then run kinovea and simulator software. The only expense would be for the skytrak and net/mat as I already have everything else needed.
I like the idea of swing catalyst intergrating with the GC2 all in one package, and would like to get it as close to that as I could.
Can you also mix the skytrak (for ball data) with for example a sensor club mat (for club data) if they were both compatible with E6. Could I choose which unit the ball data comes from? Im really just lloking for a sensor what track club path and does not spit out any ball data which will hopefully be dealt with the skytrak.
Hopefully this new launch monitor "coming soon" will track club and ball and will solve all my problems!
