  • ProTee vs GC2

    Hello All,

Very new to the forum and have a relatively unique (I think) scenario that brought me here. I purchased a home that the previous home owner had built a simulator in and we negotiated to keep it in place. The structure was built specifically for the ProTee system with cutouts in the floor for both the pressure pad and putting sensor. The kicker is that he had had some challenges with calibration and over the years decided to invest in a GC2. The negotiation was around the GC2 and that is what I am using currently for all systems and it is working great. I have recently considered selling the ProTee cameras, lights and putting sensor (impact pad was removed prior to my purchase). That said, and being new to the home simulator world, I was wondering what you may do in my situation? Selling the GC2, would yield enough to upgrade all the software and purchase an impact pad, but I am not sure I need what appears to be the expanded data set. Just looking for some guidance to minimize regret of selling any of it as my whole family has really enjoyed the setup. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Keep the GC2!!!... (Unless you're in Toronto. Because I'd buy it off you in a second). Protee technology is generations behind. Going from GC2 to Protee would be many steps backwards. The previous owner made the switch for a reason.

The GC2 is still the gold standard inside. Don't change
