  • Alternative to SkyTrak...Maybe GC2 or Quad or......

I "donated" my Skytrak to my sons golf team/coach at his high school.....I had it setup in my garage with a projector and a golf impact screen. Loved the setup but I figured I would go with something a little more "in-depth".

I thought about something from foresight....maybe a GC2 or Quad. Whats the best place to get a good used one. Are there any "gotchas" that I need to be on the lookout for.

I haven't done much research on them and I've heard that some can be loaded with different software or something to that affect.....where can I go to learn more about that kind of thing?

I still have my TGC2019 but from what I understand, it wont transfer to a GC2 or whatever.....maybe I can sell it?

Would love to hear thoughts and what others have experienced with their GC2 or Quads....and if you could go back and buy it again, would you. What would you buy different or what upgrades would you get, etc.

I got the Uneekor QED and love it. I’ve had it for about 6 months or so and play exclusively on TGC2019.

And it’s nice because it hangs from the ceiling out of the way.

Just to add I definitely would have gone EyeXO over GC Quad, only bonus the GCquad has over EyeXO that I am aware of is portability.

You should be able to transfer your Skytrak TGG to a GC2. Many of us have done it, including myself

I just upgraded from a skytrak to gc2 and transferred over my tgc2019 license for the $100 fee. Foresight is making you buy FSX now with a used gc2 however. I got mine from par2pro right away when I saw this thankfully. Looks like they are out of stock at the moment.

That sounds like my kind of luck with the GC2 situation....and I have looked at the Uneekor QED.....definitely like it, may look into that a little more. So those two, the Uneekor or the GC2 are the best sims in that sub 10k price range?

I was wondering why the price jumped. So are we looking at 10k for the EyeXO or 8400 for a used gc2? I’m looking to upgrade from a SkyTrak and it seems like the EyeXO is a no brainer choice. Anything I’m missing?

                  ES2020 is an unstable unit.
