The width and height of my golf simulator will be 9x9. If the mat is at center then the ball is at 3f from the right rather than 4.5 feet. If the ball it at center then I may hit the left side of the cage. Is this an issue with Skytrak and TGC2019? I have purchased Skytrak but still working on my garage.

What happens if ball position not at center for a 9x9x10 swing bay?

Not an issue at all. Skytrak doesn't know where your mat or screen are in relation to the ball. Straight according to the Skytrak is just simply parallel to the unit. Being off-centered doesn't matter in TGC either as the ball will start from the center regardless of where you actually hit it from. There is a setting in the game where you can offset the ball from center to line it up with where you are hitting from if you prefer that just for the visual aspect of it. But it's really just sliding the camera view over to match up with your ball position and doesn't affect the gameplay. Just a visual thing.
I am off-centered to the right by about a foot. I have tried adjusting the offset setting in the game but ultimately decided I liked having the ball centered on the screen so I don't use it anymore.

Thank you for the explanation. I think I will leave the shot tracers from the center too.

My screen is 10’ wide, but I have a bit more room for swing clearance. My floor is a CCE mat and grass carpet. I keep the GC2 square to the CCE mat and swing along the mat line (similar to real golf where I sim to a spot a few feet in front of ball). Works fine. Right handed. Hit area on screen is obviously right of center. Make sure your right wall will catch any balls hit that way since you will have little room for error and they could have velocity.
nice part of this setup is you can get a square screen and turn it 4 times as it gets worn.

I too am offset a foot or so. I tried the offset on the Skytrak software but I ended up preferring just leaving the target line center of the screen. I just pick a spot on the screen and aim there. No issues.
