Sim build advice for platform

I'd like to match the height of the 4x9 fiberbuilt mat I have coming (2 3/8") for my platform/putting area . I'll Be using 3/18" turf from turffactorydirect

I'd like to use interlocking foam tiles of some sort .however, that alone won't get me to that height . Open to using insulated foam below however I'm concerned about it being too squishy or denting after time.

What would be the best combination to get me to that height ? Looking to fill a 10x10 space.

House or garage? I built a frame due to the slope in the garage but used plywood to build up the floor and dropped the mat in. The mat sat above but when turf factory turf came then I was level. Plywood was the answer for me. I had to use two sheets in height to get the desired height so thing were flush. I also put a thin foam vapor barrier to prevent squeaks. Worked like a charm
