  • Where to purchase

I have been looking at several LM/SIMs the last couple of weeks and am getting close to pulling the trigger. The three main candidates at this point are Personal Pro, Skytrak, and P3 most likely in that order. While looking at several different sites I have found prices varying quite a bit from one place to another. The biggest question I have is where or who to purchase from? I am assuming most support comes direct from manufacturer once you get it. Par2Pro is about the only site I have read any real feedback from, all of which is positive so if I end up going to the P3 route I would most likely purchase there. The other options appear to be amazon, innovative golf system(virtual-golf-simulator.com), and the golf simulator store(golfsimulatorstore.com). Can anyone provide any insight to experiences they have had with any of these places. Is there a place out there I have not found yet that I should be looking? Or at the end of the day is this just something you purchase from the cheapest place possible and rely on manufacturer support?

    Thanks

I have dealt with Cory from par2pro and he is very good. You can also look,at Golfsimulatorguys (I have never dealt with them).

I have a personal pro, works well. Pad is great to hit from, ive hit some hard shots into the mat and it keeps going. I purchased it from innovative, they were great to deal with. I have also gone for the launch camera, makes a big difference for these sensor mat systems in the realisim of bad shots. I am impresed with the service from both innovative and personal pro. I have a an older vectorX LM, the personal pro is as good for practice at home.
Ive played on some high end systems at Sim centers, and the PP is great for the price, even better now with TGC.

Atom, I bought my GC2 from Par2pro along with a couple of other subsequent purchases. Cory is very helpful... You can tell by the videos he does on all of the simulator stuff at golf shows. As far as support goes, depends on what type of support you're looking for. You'll get a combination of support from P2P or whoever you buy from, the manufacturer, and the other users on this site. Good luck.
