    Golf Sim putting area

So..I pulled the trigger and ordered a full Uneekor QED set up...ordered a 9x12 bay and got a 7'x12' landing mat and a 5'x10' hitting mat....now I'm thinking...how the hell am I going to putt?...do I just put a thing piece of putting turf right on top of the hitting mat I bought?...hitting mat itself would be too thick to try and putt off....

You should be able to putt right from the hitting surface unless it's a fiberbuilt panel. The QED only reads a short distance for ball measurements.

      It's a 5'x10 version of this mat I purchased https://www.allturfmats.com/Premium-...t-p/tt6060.htm

That looks similar to a CCE which is not great to putt from since it’s a pretty bouncy roll. But if you use tgc there is a straight putt setting anyway so you only need to be concerned with speed and picking the right line in the software. But using other software will be an issue since the ball more than likely will not roll smoothly and straight
