  • My simulator

I “finished” up my sim a couple weeks ago. Had it functional by Father’s Day and made some tweaks this summer as I learned about set up and how it best fit what I needed. Came in at around $6500.

    -Skytrak

    - fiberbuilt studio on plywood with rope/handles to move easily

    - Benq (I’d have to look up the model, but it’s a standard one mentioned frequently on here.

    - Net and screen from Chip at spectrum golf I think he goes by golfsimulatorsite on here.

    - led lights from Amazon 2 50 foot strands

    - spotlight from Amazon (plug in 3 adjustable LED)

    - some mattress padding behind 10 foot wide by 2 foot tall to protect against worm burners

    - birtee tees

    - Rii Xi8 wireless remote

    - gaming computer from Amazon with a Nvidia 2070 graphics card

    - tgc2019 (one year since I wasn’t sure if I’d use it)

    Work still to do

    - I have my mat measured out to be perfectly parallel to the screen. I measured it about a foot too close. This causes two issues. 1) the curtains (not pulled out in this picture) on the left interfered with driver follow through. 2) ball bounce back comes too close to hitter. The second actually isn’t bad because it bounces in the concrete about 2 feet in front of you and you can just catch it. Pretty handy ball retrieval! Ha!

    - might affix the right pole closest to the mat to the ceiling as well

    - about 100 other small things that I think will always keep me busy tinkering!

awesome experience - love the rabbit hole this took me down - and REALLY enjoy my sim!

thank you to everyone in the forum. The information you provide help so many people!

Adding my big balls drive of the day. Every other one was horrible but it only takes one too keep ya coming back.

Nice setup! I'm still just using a net with a TV to the side. I resisted sim golf(TGC, et al.) for the first few months of having my launch monitor but it really is super fun especially once I got a handle on the inside swing phenomenon.

I'm really enjoying it too after some initial buyers remorse. Expensive but worth it.
