  • Padding Strike Screen Frame

I purchased a Premium screen from Carl's Place along with the bunges to attach to EMT pipe and used foam pipe insulation to pad them. Everything works well except when I use a wedge it will occasionally hit the top pipe and rochet back fairly hard even with the padding. I used some long black sand bags to pad the bottom pipe but not sure what my options are for the top. Do you have any suggestions? Here are some pictures of what I am speaking of. TIA!

    Hi.
I just set up a Carl's place enclosure myself but with the preferred screen.
My screen/enclosure has these velcro flaps that form an empty triangular space covering the bars, so I went to home depot and bought some triangle shaped foam gutter guards that fit snuggly in this space. Not perfect, but so far so good.
However I don't see the triangle flaps on your screen, so not sure if this will be an option for you? Perhaps try sending an email to Carl's place and see what they recommend. They seem to be very responsive

jbsmith87 - I'm planning on doing that with my screen enclosure - ball bungees & tarp clips with eyebolts to studs and top bar. Can you show me some pics - I've got a handful of the Gutter Guards Foam that I bought at HomeDepot. Did you wrap them in anything? Did you mount them with anything?
