I am looking for swing cameras that will work for DtL & Face-on similar to what I have experienced at GolfTech. Today I have a Mevo+ and am looking for something that will work with that but also with a Uneekor eye xo that I have my eyes on down the road. My current Face-on space is limited so something with lens options would be great. Any help is appreciated!

It depends on what you want to spend. I just got Imaging Source Cameras for my GC Quad set up. They integrate with the FSX 2020 software. They are USB 3.0. Pretty "high end." The lenses work from 5'0 to 25'0 (adjustable). You can get them from www.surfthing.com.

Thanks, those look about right size/price wise. Are most of these solutions compatible with other systems like Uneekor or Mevo+?Originally posted by Tom Howarth View PostIt depends on what you want to spend. No they are not. Most manufacturers of LMs or Swing Catalyst have a recommended camera list. You need to know what LM you are going to use before purchasing unless you are going the Kinovea or OBS route. Your options get a little broader with Kinovea or OBS but not by much. Where as the LMs have one maybe two camera options (same quality as mentioned above) Kinovea has four or five options.

Not sure about Mevo? Imaging Source Cameras would work with Swing Catalyst. Foresight Sports is pushing all of its users towards this by not including camera playback in their latest software "Play" and partnering with SC. Uneekor has its own cameras. I looked at that set up before buying a Quad. The cameras they have, which were nice, appeared to need more distance from golfer. I am like you; my side view camera is about 6-7'0 from golfer.

I recently purchased the BFS-PGE-04S2C-CS. They are the 290FPS color POE blackfly S cameras from FLIR. I have set them up and tested in swing catalyst and they worked great they do need a ton of light to work correctly. If you dont have enough light it limits the FPS and increases exposure time. Once dialed in with enough light and fine tuning in swing catalyst they were perfect. I paired them with some F1.4 3.8-13mm adjustable lenses. If you go this right make sure to get the transition rings going from the different mounts. It was a little expensive but worth the money I think the quality is great.

I just added the Logitech Brio to use with my Quad. I may add another for both angles. They are $129 on Amazon. You get a little shaft blur but the body image is fine. Plug and play. Happy with it.Last edited by Scottygolf; 10-06-2022, 06:16 PM.
