Is it worth it to DIY a trackman home sim vs having TM do it for you? How much can you save while still having a very nice set up?

That is a tough question to ask, everyone’s financial situation is different. I would feel confident saying you would save ten of thousands of dollars to DIY it. Whether the end result would be acceptable is a matter of self awareness. -
You can certainly save money doing it yourself but the price difference is highly variable depending on your actual install.
Aside from the install, and you didn't ask this, but I would recommend a camera based launch monitor that can measure both backspin and sidespin. Radar units like Trackman can't measure spin axis or sidespin of the ball and relies on club data to calculate. Most camera launch monitors can measure backspin and sidespin by seeing the ball.Comment
