Is Manual Putting an Option?

Hi everyone, it's my 1st post.

I'm in the planning stages of a garage man cave build. I've been searching for a couple weeks getting familiar with todays technology & weighing price points to options and so forth.

I was wondering if there is an option in any or all sims that would allow for manual putting? I haven't played on a sim in probably 10 years; but I recall one that I played a few times that had the option (I can't recall the name of the sim). I've always found sim putting to be really hokey and would rather build an indoor green.

E6 allows you to manually input number of putts.

I agree, much better to have a manual way of entering putts - are there any other sims that support it?

Also, how would that be handled in online game/tournament play?

GC2 and FS1 has auto putt. I never putted on my GC2 and I use a outdoor putting green outside my Sim room that we putted on using a tape measure for the distance and used the auto putt.

But to play online and tournaments you have to putt with the 6 foot gimmie set, now we putt on the sim when playing.

Putting is not perfect but it's close enough for me when gimmies are set to 6 feet and I don't try to be good nor do I practice putting on the sim.

All short game practice for real golf is done in my backyard and at the course

Thanks for the replys. I'm still hunting for info and probably wont decide on what to do until fall.
