    Software preferences

    I am about half way through with a new build. Its my first time at this, and of course, I want it to be as good as possible for my budget. I have not spent much time researching which software to use but I am leaning towards TGC because I would like to pay one time, and from what I have read about it so far. I am 65 years old, about a 12 handicap, and just want to improve my game and have fun with my friends when the weather is not cooperating. I am not very techy and don't want to fuss around with it, so I hope that's not a problem.

    I"m sure this question has been asked a million times before, but what is your favorite software and why?

      My favorite 3rd party sim software is TGC 2019. They have great graphics and thousands of great courses to choose from. It is easily the most used golf sim software in our office.

      E6 connect is a close second. Their software is more user friendly and they have better practice features. Their only downside is they don't have near as many courses and the graphics aren't quite as good.

        What hardware unit do you have? Going to do a pc or tablet?

          I had a PC built. We have a great IT guy from when we had a small business. I sent him the requirements for TGC19 and he built one with three times as much hourse power than needed, lol
